Heads up: Non-Deployable Scripts & Pkgs Get Deployed via Policy Anyway

Heads up:

If you modify a script or pkg to be "Non-Deployable", but they're already part of a policy, when the policy runs, the "Non-Deployable" items will run as well.

Just had an instance of this occur and was very confused until I re-tested and confirmed this behavior.

Please post the version of Casper you're running so we can test on our setups please.

Thanks!

Ah, well, its possible this was addressed in a more recent update. Since 8.22 there was 8.3.x, a few 8.4.x versions and now 8.51. I would check in with your account manager on this to see if they can let you know where a fix may have been rolled in.

Yes, I agree, hopefully this is a very limited issue. Just wanted to bring it to the attention of users so they might be able to avoid this in their environment (whatever version they may be running.)
