I thought I would brave the world of iOS 9.3.x and JSS 9.9x iOS Device Based App Assignments again after a failed attempt to do this last fall (which in the process uncovered a couple of product defects at the time).
I'm not sure if trying to deploy apps in this approach, but our server has become less responsive with MySQL showing "running" and "stopped" constantly in the OS X MySQL preference pane when the less responsiveness occurs.
We've had to turn off Apple EDU Support in order to be able to even log back into our server (it's own bug that with it enabled brings down the server) but I'm wondering if the two are related somehow?
However, I've looked through a few devices and now I'm noticing that the JSS is sending out the install app command for Google Drive a few times over the last couple of days. It does end up being in the complete command history. I have probably 300 devices that Google Drive is scoped to.
Our JSS is set to autoupdate the apps at 4am.
I'm wondering if the JSS isn't capturing the version number correctly and therefore trying to install the update over and over?
