Is there a way to force iPads to authenticate to active directory using the JAMF MDM?
Our web filtration (M86 Security) is based on Active Directory user accounts so all our iPads are getting the most restrictive filtration as they are not authenticating.

Funny you should ask.
Earlier this morning, Centrify announced just such a thing that should theoretically be compatible with JAMF MDM. It will take some time for this to sort out in testing, but so far this is where I would investigate.

Any further news on this? I would certainly like our students to have to authenticate against the AD on my site as well.

We are also interested on this feature.

I was at a mac admin meeting with Apple and I wouldn't count on AD authentication on the iOS side.
Just curious, what are you trying to accomplish with AD logins on iPads?

We have some requests from our schools. They want to retrieve different e-mail (exchange) accounts on there iPad`s. For example a teacher used it in the Morning and give it in the lessons to a student and in the afternoon it will be used from an other teacher at the after school center.
