Does anyone have any experience of integrating Macs running OS X 10.9/10.10 into an iPXE environment (particularly where WDS dominates)?

If so, I wonder if you'd be prepared to share your experiences?

Theoretically they should co-exist nicely however that entirely depends on your set up.

So the recommended way to implement across subnets for both PXE and Netboot is to set up ip helpers on each subnet that point to the respective appropriate pxe and netboot servers. Sadly i've worked in places where they implemented PXE as a DHCP server option. This is not good practice (at least according to MS themselves) and can cause various issues.

Each VLAN should be configured with ip helpers to point basically to your DHCP servers, PXE server(s) and Netboot server(s).
