Hello everyone,
We've been experiencing this problem on rare occasion however it seems like its gotten progressively worse and figured I should ask for support as I cannot figure out for the life of me. I have an ongoing ticket with support but i figured why not ask the community as well.
Workflow using ENTRAID:
Mac boots up, user selects language, region, wifi, remote management screen appears, they sign in using their credentials, jamf connect window appears for them to reenter credentials again, account gets created and users now at the desktop.
The problem occurs remote management screen>sign in using their credentials>black screen>reboots to the user language section>reboots>user language selection>repeat
My first thought is our jamf connect configuration even tho is placed inside of our prestage enrollments, and is scoped to all users and all computers will sometimes not be received by the macs. Now i only say that because if i remove the same configuration profile, something similar happens after remote management screen>enter credentials>Reboots>leads to a lock screen asking for username and password but since no account is created nothing works, im unable to provide logs.
Has anyone else experienced something like this or knows where else to look, all help is appreciated.

If the device is rebooting after entering credentials to enroll at the remote management screen, that would not be Jamf Connect. Jamf Pro cannot install applications until after this and a few moresteps complete. This looks to be more so a MDM enrollment failure. What are the Jamf Pro Logs saying around the time this happens on a device?
It's not a big deal to remove Jamf Connect from your Prestage for testing. You can remove the package and Configuration Profiles with little impact. Heck, you really don't even need the Jamf Connect Configuration Profiles in your prestage, as Jamf Connect cant install until after the system polls and would install Configuration Profiles not in the prestage.

In our prestage, we didnt have jamf connect included in the packages section, we just had our depnotify package and the configuration profile for our jamf connect & license. Perhaps cause its pushed by macapps instead, which is set to install automatically.
As for logs, i'll have to recreate the issue again as I didnt record a time stamp. Thank you for clearing up that its not jamf connect at least, now i have something else to look at.
