I have a problem restoring iPads from iCloud. I have managed iPads which are not shared. The teachers are allowed to use a private Apple-ID. We are changing to a new iPad version. I changed the startup so the teachers are able to login with their Apple-ID and choose to restore from the cloud. That works well. At the first start the iPad tries to handle the profile i push to every teacher iPad. That is the point I am stuck. The only way I found is to disable the profile. The problem is that the iPad starts but all apps which are distributed by Jamf have the small cloud icon. When I klick on them they don’t download. The only way is to manually delete the icon an then reinstall the apps. Just pushing the teacher profile doesn't help.
Is there a better way to switch from one iPad to another using an iCloud backup or an iTunes backup?
