JDS Certificate error when using Internal Certificate

I am trying to use an internally generated certificate for our JSS from Microsoft Certificate Authority.
I have followed the steps to create keystore, generate the CSR, requested a certificate from CA and imported to keystore. Then updated Tomcat settings to use this certificate.

In a browser, the certificate is coming up as valid. The Mac clients can check into JSS and run policy without any complaints.

But.... Our JDS's are complaining of:

error: (51) - SSL: certificate subject name 'xxx.xxx.xxx' does not match target host name 'xxx.xxx.xxx'

I've xxx'd out the actual names, but they do match.

Our JDS is running 9.82 and OS is RHEL 6.7

Has anyone else had this issue? Any pointers on how to resolve?
