In the "Starfish IT" session on Wednesday, the speaker mentioned that their JAMF-hosted cloud JSS had some JAMF custom implemented IP table rules that restricted administrative functions of the JSS to a specific public IP range, while still allowing standard JSS actions (inventory, etc.) to any public IP. Any chance we could get an example of those rules?

More along the lines of privacy, but with the recent issues with Safe Harbor and the European court of justice decision, what (if any) things are being done to help organizations adhere to data export restrictions, laws, and other EU rules?

Also, data collection on user activity is illegal in Germany from what I understand. Apart from standing up multiple JSS instances, are there any other things we can do to get the application usage data that IT finds useful, while excluding certain users, regions, countries?
