Hy,

After updating the jss to 8.6.4 we see an issue that powerpc computers G4 imacs and ibooks can still do a jamf recon and the recon is also transferred to the mss, but a jamf policy -trigger every15 results in a could not connect to the jss.
Here a terminal output.
jamf policy -trigger every15 -verbose
verbose: Checking for an existing instance of this application...
Checking for policies triggered by "every15"...
verbose: Checking for active connection on interface "Built-in Ethernet"...

Check over pages 18 - 20 of the Casper Suite 8.6 Admin Guide. There are limited services for 10.4 and PowerPC devices.

I checked that, and all worked before.
all computers are in 10.5.8, so correct for system requirements.
10.5.x are not limited.

Via you JSS web site, log in and browse to the following:

Settings > Computer Management Framework Settings > Security

Is the option to "Enable Certificate-Based Communication" check marked?

If yes, then on that device that is having trouble, enter the following command:

sudo jamf enroll

It should update the keychain info on the client and then submit a new inventory report to the JSS.

Otherwise, try using Casper Remote to deploy an simple package or remotely view. Does it warn you that it can't due to unknown user? That would indicate the management account on the client is missing or has a different password than what the JSS has stored for it.
