Kernel Panic Errors

We have so far about 10 MacBook Pro 2012s that within a couple days have gotten Kernel Panic Errors (picture attached). Wondering if there is anyone else who has had a rise in these errors recently or if anyone can help theorycraft a causation.7b56ddf688b34674a4f8791aa72b27ce

Hey @EliasG Are you updating to 10.12.4 on these Macs? if so, what's happening is the update process is getting stuck at some point and getting caught in a boot loop.

If you target disk mode an affected Mac, and then run either the 10.12.4 combo update on it or the 10.12.4 MacOS installer, it will fix the issue you're seeing.

@perrycj some of them are on El-capitan that it has happened too. Most of our users don't run updates.

I would just follow those same guidelines for whatever version of OSX/MacOS you're seeing it on.

If I were to hazard a guess (and it really is a guess), something hosed the kernel cache. Are you able to boot in Single User mode?
