I tried searching the existing forums for this and couldn't find what I was looking for. A computer was stolen from our campus and wiped, but was re-enrolled through DEP. Second one in a week. It's currently checking into our server (system reports it checked in 16 minutes ago) and I sent it the remote lock command, but it's still pending from what I can see. We've tested remote lock before and it works when the computer is on our network. How do you make it work when the computer is off network?
+5Your going to need to have a JAMF instance in the DMZ. That is how we have it setup in our shop to talk to devices externally.
