+3+7I used DataRescue to get files back off of an SATA SSD that had been accidentally formatted. But it was mounted via a usb-docking station--so TRIM wasn't a factor.
However, if you remove files using empty trash or rm on a system where those files are on the live
boot disk, I believe TRIM will make recovery very difficult and/or expensive.
