Macs imaged with 10.8.1 fails to take Computer Name

We have just begun experimenting with applying 10.8.1 images to our hardware. What we have noticed is that using Casper Imaging 8.6 with a 8.6 JSS is that completed Macs show up as - in ARD and the Computer Name field in the Sharing preference pane is blank on the local machine.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a work around?

The workaround right now I think is to build your OS packages on the hardware you're deploying to.
I had this issue when I deployed an OS that I built on a retins MBPro to a non-retina.
Building a new OS (and I'm using Composer for this) on my newest non-retina new MBPro fixed this for me.
I believe this is an Apple defect... you can probably find more by searching localhost or name

Pretty much. 10.8.2 came out so perhaps? Not tested yet.
