Dear Casper users,
Our university has recently decided to use the Casper suite to manage all Apple computers. I'm in the process of building a fresh new Casper image and trying to include all the customisations from our previous image.
One of the customisations is setting the keyboard layout to "Australian". Currently this is appearing as "U.S.", both in the Mac OSX login window and the Apple menubar. The MCX settings that I have used for this so far are:
Keyname = AppleCurrentKeyboardLayoutInputSourceID
Value = com.apple.keylayout.Australian
Domain = com.apple.HIToolbox
Preference type = User Level Enforced
Keyname = showInputMenu
Value = true
Domain = com.apple.loginwindow
Preference type = User Level Enforced
Keyname = TextInput.menu
Value = true
Domain = com.apple.mcxMenuExtras
Preference type = User Level Enforced
I suspect there are some additional MCX settings required to get "Australian" instead of "U.S.". Would anyone know what they might be?
Any advice would be much appreciated, and I do apologise if this is a "newbie" question.
Cheers, Ron.
