Question

Memory Usage View - No interface timeout?

Forum|alt.badge.img+8

I just noticed that the web interface timeout does not apply to the "Memory Usage" view from the JSS information area. I accidentally left my browser opened in this view for a few hours and it never logged me out, the timeout never took effect. I was under the assumption that the web interface timeout was a global setting for the entire JSS.

@djrich29 I replicated this issue in JAMF Pro 10 and raised a case with JAMF. While writing the case I searched on JamfNation and found this thread so I guess it has been going on for a while.

Yep, still happens as of 10.4.1. I recently migrated my JSS to a new VM, and I have been monitoring memory usage as a result. I haven't been logged out of the web UI since last week sometime.

It looks like one could push this error up by mentioning that this makes Jamf Pro non compliant to GDPR.
Common rules mandate a GUI logout after some time....
