I've been in contact with our Apple Support Engineer with regard to transitioning apps purchased under the Apple Education Licensing Program (AELP...sorry if this term dates myself) to our Apple School Manager Account/VPP account for distribution by Jamf Pro. Basically we have a few thousand dollars invested in licenses pertaining to Final Cut, Logic, Etc.
In conversation with our Apple rep, the only way our redemption codes (from AELP) could be migrated to Managed Licenses is iff they were purchased initially through the Volume Purchase Program.
Can anyone debunk this? Alternatively has anyone managed to migrate AELP apps to managed licenses? Or did you have to repurchase your apps via VPP?
