I'm about to roll out a FreeNAS box as my new Casper share point, replacing a 2009 Xserve (currently running 10.9). Anything I particularly need to watch out for?

Follow up: transition is complete and it works great. If you need to replace your Xserve, take a good look at FreeNAS!
