Need help with a user login script

I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me out. My scripting skills are not the best. I need a script that will install a package based on the user login. Each user needs a specific package to run every time they log in. Any suggestions?

    Does the user get the specific package based on their user name? Can you give me an example of the package name or what not?
