Excellent Video
We use the App Store to deploy the Packages
Any clue on how can i get Outlook export option to not work. Don't want the users to export the official E-mails.

I got it working using a Configuration Profile using the following details

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict> <key>DisableExport</key> <true/>
</dict>
</plist>

Will JAMF be adding the full Office 365 Suite installer to "Patch Management"? This would be ideal.

@stephaniemm77 thanks for the feedback! If you haven't seen it already, take a look at the Jamf Webinar that @talkingmoose and I presented a couple of months ago. In the second half, I go over the preferences that you can use to suppress first run dialogs. Do note, that for Office 365 Subscriptions, the user must always sign-in when launching the first app. Alternatively, if you're using Volume License, the sign-in and activation screen can be completely bypassed (e.g. when using the OfficeAutoSignIn preference).

Hope this helps!

@RedWings The Suite package is simply a convenient and bandwidth friendly way of getting the individual Office apps deployed to each Mac. However, at rest, all of the Office apps are independent from each other from a bundle perspective, so I would expect Jamf to continue reporting on the patch level of each app.

Hope this helps!

@pbowden thank you, i was using your script but as a new jamf user i didnt realize my login hooks were not enabled...took me awhile to figure that part out...I have to fool around with those settings to see if I can get it working right

@stephaniemm77 any reason why you’re not using Configuration Profiles for this? It’s much easier setting this computer-wise than messing with logging scripts/books.

Paul, new JAMF user who's trying to add the package. We recently upgraded from 10.0 to 10.18 and I tried to follow the steps in the video you posted (thanks for that) but running into issues where all I can do is upload using the Manifest File option. Is there something I'm not doing?
