I have some macOS clients which do not show the WiFi icon at the login screen.
Once the user logs in they need to select the SSID from the top menu bar.
I have WiFi profile that has the payload and is set to auto-connect. On the client in System Preferences the checkmark for Automatically join this network check is there.
This is happening on a small number of machines in our fleet.
10.13 and 10.14
The computers are bound to AD and users sign in as managed, mobile accounts. This is not a RADIUS login.
Any ideas how to tackle this? I've searched JamfNation but don't see info from recent years.
