+6Any method to get a non-.app to show up in application inventory? I added the location to the inventory application scan but it only seems to look for .app files. in this case, CrowdStrike, were wonting if it can be show as an application in Jamf inventory for export to our CMDB.
We do have an extension attribute already. Next step is getting the CMDB to look there for it.
+9No, application inventory only looks for .app. You will need to rely on EA's for other things. In the case of CrowdStrike, I believe they are adding a .app to version 5.30 because that's a requirement of using the new system extension. So this particular instance should fix itself soon for you.
