Sorry for a bit off topic but this list is one of the best Mac experts listings I've ever had the pleasure to use and collaborate ;)
Anybody using WD WD500BEVT hard drives in their MacBook Pro? These are the WD Scorpio Blue flavours.
I suspect these drives are not good with MBPro.. Just going on a hunch but I'm seeing bizarre errors across the board but no kernel panics, yet.
EX: Very loooooooong boot times, takes about 17 seconds to refresh a folder that was never previously opened, freshly imaged machines are responding as if they are old, stepped on and act like a drive that has about 20 MB of free space left… (which is not the case)
Someone here before me had a big idea of installing these drives on every Mac that comes in… Why? I dunno….
