Package could not be found on the server

My 8.1 JSS has 9 remote xserve distribution points, and all are replicating fine. I added a software package and script yesterday, and created a policy to deploy them this morning.

All is going well except on one of the distibution points, where the client logs are reporting that "The package could not be found on the server". However, I can literally see them sitting there right where they belong.

Then only difference with this server is that the CasperShare is on an attached storage array, instead of the local boot drive of the server. But again, replication is working.

Any suggestions of where to look first?

Try re-copying the package. Also Check the name of the package in casper admin.
Make sure the actual package and the name displayed in casper admin are exactly the same. If there is an extra space, it will not see the package.
