Question

Patch reporting

Forum|alt.badge.img+9

Can JAMF please speed up the updates for PatchReporting over at JAMF? Sometimes we can't use Patch reporting 'as built in' because the system is unaware that Firefox, Adobe and so on has released an updated version. . I've found a workaround w/o using smart groups and still using patch reporting, but we shouldn't need to use one

kthxbye

@B-35405 Thanks for the feedback. This is a super common question/concern. Check out my response on this similar post. TL;DR is that we're working on it.

kthxbye :)

Yeah, went through today and found out that most of the newer stuff was out of date.
I guess in reality, our clients are slow enough too react to requests that it won't hurt, but it should be working more quickly to discover updates.
Thanks for the info, @erin.miska

@scottb Yea, a flood of updates were released yesterday afternoon after Apple released macOS 10.12.2. The majority of them will go out later today. Thanks for your patience.
