Question

Policy specifying smart user group in scope does not execute.

Hello All,
I have specified a smart user group in the scope of the policy,
and specified Enrollment Complete as a trigger.

After that, I assigned an LDAP user matching the smart user group to the computer at enrollment so that the policy is executed.
However, the policy was not executed and STATUS was Pending on the log.

Is there some information to execute a policy that specifies smart user groups in scope?

If your enrolling via DEP through Apple Setup then there will be no user associated with the machine at the point of enrollment so the policy won't execute, once the user has logged in the policy would then fall into scope and therefore come up as pending, but of course there will never be another Enrollment trigger so it will stay like that indefinitely.

Thank you for your response.@Look I appreciate your kindness.
I will review the policy setting and try it.
