Problems rebooting after running a policy?

Not applicable

I've seen this a couple times now, thought the first must've been my mistake
for not checking the box, but after seeing it a couple more times I'm
wondering whats going on.

run software updates, update the inventory.

The software package is marked as =B3requires reboot=B2 in Casper Admin, so on
the Reboot tab I=B9ve left selected =B3Reboot if SWU or Package requires.=B2 With
this selected, the policy runs fine, tells me the install was successful,
but then I don=B9t get any sort of reboot prompt on the machine.

I=B9ve also told Casper Remote to reboot the machine after running the policy
,
and the install is successful, but I still get no reboot prompt on the
machine afterward.

Any suggestions? Something I=B9m missing?

Thanks,
Bob

I used to see this. For me, it was the result of checking the box to "Enforce Management Framework" in the policy. disabling this made the effect more consistent for me. Still, if another jamf process or policy is running, it will delay the reboot until its done.

, run software updates, update the inventory.

The software package is marked as =93requires reboot=94 in Casper Admin, so on the Reboot tab I=92ve left selected =93Reboot if SWU or Package require
s.=94 With this selected, the policy runs fine, tells me the install was su

I=92ve also told Casper Remote to reboot the machine after running the poli

Any suggestions? Something I=92m missing?
