Q: Jamf Automated Device Enrolment Token

Hi guys!

I am hoping someone can help me out with the below!

I am getting the follow error when enrolling devices:

[ERROR] [ina-exec-68] [UniqueIDSSMCache         ] - An error has occurred for cache JSSCache and key TREATWELL1495822631211::SelfServiceBookmarks-findAll: Non-serializable object

The Jamf Token was previously generated and uploaded by my colleague who has now left the business, does this mean that we have to regenerate the Token with an active e-mail address/Apple ID?

If anyone knows about the Error or the above, please help me out it will be much appreciated!! 😁

Jamf relies on a APN (apple push notification) Certificate that is set up with an Apple ID. This certificate needs to be renewed with that very same Apple ID every year. If you do not have access to that Apple ID, you will loose the power over enrolling and managing all currently enrolled devices. This means you'll need to re-enrol all devices after setting up a new APN certificate with a new Apple ID.

The best practice is to create a managed Apple ID in the Apple Business Manager, you can then have multiple admins that are then able to reset the password for the Apple ID that was used for the APN Certificate, to avoid issues like 'Admins that leave and not giving you access to the Apple ID'.

Thank you so much - I will give this a go !
