I am seeing some weird behavior with screen savers. With no policy defined they are set to 5 minutes and are users are not able to change that time, the option is grayed out. They can pick the screen saver, just not the inactivity time.
I created a profile for screen savers and set the time to 10 minutes but the "start after" time did not change from 5 to 10, it remained at 5.
But if I set the time in the policy to 15 minutes the start screensaver after time on the mac changes to 20 minutes. When I look at the profile the screen saver idle time is set to 900
I have also changed the time to 60 minutes and the start time does not change. It appears the only time it changes is if I go from 15 to 10
