I have three MacBook Pro users who are having an issue where the screen
displays colored horizontal bands that move with the trackpad/mouse. In the
past, I've attributed such screen problems to a faulty video component or
logic board and sent them to Apple for repair. In diagnosing one of these
laptops, however, I realized that the problem was software based. I'm
concerned that there might be something in my imaging config (Casper)
causing the problem.
We sent one out to Apple before I realized this, and they "clean installed
the latest Mac OS version to resolve a known issue," which sounds to me like
they did nothing. Still, I can't help wondering if this is actually a known
issue.
Anyone having similar problems?

Sorry, I meant to mention that. We're using a config with OS X 10.6.8 on
machines that were shipped with 10.6.x. I'm doubtful the Casper process is
causing the problem, but I posted the message in case other admins had seen
this issue crop up. And yes, it happened quickly after the imaging process
completed. It's also intermittent, which makes it hard to narrow down.
