script to remove item from startup items?

Not applicable

Hello all-

I just got my script working for PaperCut (finally) via a login policy.
It works great. However, I deployed a bunch of machines before I could
fix it to faculty members-simply adding the PCClient.app to their login
items.

Now, if I make the scope "all computers" or even the faculty group, both
the login item and the script will pop up together, confusing users.

Is there a way that I can send a script out to specific client computers
to remove the said login item before I turn on the policy?

thanks!

You could write a script that loops through said items and if the creation dates equal the date of the file you want scrapped you can then have it run a custom trigger casper policy to remove it, or use a dummy package system and apply another policy to that via a smart group.

Can you give a bit more details?
