I am not sure if this has something to do with the most recent version of JSS or if it is just a glitch, but we have found the the self service app has some strange permissions issues. If you check the permissions it shows that the user has read and write permissions.
This would probably have gone unnoticed, but we have some students that spend more time trying to circumvent the app restrictions than they do on their classwork. One student in particular found that he could "show package contents" for 'Self Service.app' and place anything he wants to run in there and could get around the app restrictions.
I am just curious if anyone else has had this issue, can replicate the issue, or just has a resolution.
