I have had a few ipads ome my way, where the self service app wont prompt for the app store password to install the app.
the requests appear pending casper, against the device.
After further investigation, I re-enrolled the device which it still didnt work, then I noticed the app store was in a folder that was docked to the quick launch bar at the bottom, I moved the app store out of the folder and onto the main page, and this appears to have fixed the problem, and the request for app store password appeared.
Is this a common bug? and is it related to Casper or is it related to IOS 7.1.1, because it needs addressing.
I have had similar issues where apps wasn't updating, as the user had move the app inside a group inside a group inside a group. Which was a purely IOS fault as we hadn't enrolled the device yet.
