What is the best way to set a computer's site based on its IP address? I am trying to make it so that I don't have to click each one to set the site on it .
The closest thing I've been able to come up with is to create a smart group based on the reported IPs. As for setting the site within the computer's JSS record, I end up manually inputting the asset tag and warranty expiration dates anyway, so while I'm in there, I set the site.
The way we are currently doing this is creating an Advanced Computer Search targeting the IP ranges, then View the devices, then click the Action button on the bottom right of the report, and last Edit the Site.
