I am trying to figure out if there is a way to do a silent update within Patch Management. Our users tend to call support whenever they see popups. So I changed user interaction to "0" with no message. Problem is if user is in the app it will shutdown the app to complete the install.
I would like to create a smart group to add to the patch so it will only run if the app is not the latest version and the app is closed.
For this test I am trying to do it to Google Chrome. So I created a smart group called Patch Chrome with Criteria Patch Reporting: Google Chrome..is not..Latest Version. Is there a criteria to add to this smart group such as app..is not..in use or open?
That would seem to resolve my issue.
