Site randomly changing back to "None"

I have a weird issue where immediately after imaging a computer I can look it up, and it's properly placed in the correct Site. However, the site will randomly reset itself back to None after the fact. I am not sure what would trigger this as I am not running a quickadd package or anything after the fact. Also, is there a way to create a smart group that displays computers that are not associated with a Site? I can't find Site in the criteria anywhere.

I used to have building / departments randomly drop out. What eventually fixed things for that place, was to eliminate the possibility that two jamf binary recons were running at once. This sets up a race condition where it can corrupt the computer's inventory record.

So if you have recon enabled on your policies, turn it off. You really only need it to run at check-in.
