Were looking at deploying sMIME certs to our users for secure email. For PC's we have a utility that sends a request to the certificate authority and gets a cert back.
I've been trying to mimic this on the Mac like we've done with the VPN Cert. I created a configuration profile that contact the CA and gets cert. It asks the user for their credentials and then talks to the CA and tries to get the cert. With the sMIME cert it goes out but says it doesn't get the correct response back.
So I was wondering if others are experiencing issues with installing sMIME certs. What have you guys done to resolve it?
