Question

Specifitying Netoboot boot-file mac osx 10.8

Forum|alt.badge.img+21

Hi guys

On 10.6.8 i specified the booter file as

tftp://X.X.X.X/NetBoot/NetBootSP0/NetBoot_10.6.8.nbi/i386/mach.macosx

Unfortunately on 10.8 there isn't a mach.macosx file

Does anyone know what i need to put for the booter file?

Thanks

In 10.7/10.8, the "--kernel" specifier was replaced with --kernelcache.
tftp://X.X.X.X/NetBoot/NetBootSP0/NetBoot_10.7.5.nbi/i386/x86_64/kernelcache

Rumor has it that net installs don't require the --kernelcache option, making them ideal for pre-10.8, but I haven't been able to verify that. Note that netBOOT requires the --kernelcache option.
