Standard directory accounts unable to open Self Service

I recently joined some of our computers to our active directory and now none of the standard directory users on those computers can open Self Service. Local users can still open it (standard and admin) and directory users with admin access can open it.

Any ideas?

Can you provide the output of:
ls -ale@ /Applications/Self Service.app
I'm showing:
drwxr-xr-x 3 justinrummel staff 102 Dec 2 12:09 .
drwxrwxr-x+ 101 root admin 3434 Jan 3 14:13 .. 0: group:everyone deny delete
drwxr-xr-x 8 justinrummel staff 272 Dec 2 12:10 Contents
Hi Justin, sorry I missed your reply. Just came back to post the solution and saw there was a response.

It turns out the issue was only affecting directory accounts that had a space in the pre-Windows2000 name. I ended up adding a . in place of the space in their username then had to delete their account off the affected machine and have them log back in and it started working again. Because the affected computers are generally only used by 1 or 2 people, it seemed like it was all directory accounts.
