(I know this is a repeat name from another topic, but the previous topic was last year - and much may have changed!)
We are selling these devices to the students who have used them for the past few years. Is this correct?
Backup user files to iCloud Drive/Google Photos etc.
Delete device from JSS
Delete device from Device Enrollment Program (Permanent)
Wipe device
Set up as new iPad
Make sure profile has been deleted on iPad.

Wouldn't it be simpler to order the JSS to wipe the device before deleting it?
As currently written, the steps after wipe device should be superfluous, and if you followed the setup steps you'd likely want to wipe it again to be able to offer it to someone in a "new" state.
I'd be inclined to trust a single wipe, particularly if these are devices going to current or former students, who likely have some idea of whom to contact at the school if the process somehow failed.
