Switch from Configurator 2 to Jamf

I am new to Jamf and managing Apple products in general, so this may be a novice problem/question. I work for a school district, and we have been managing our iPads (in shared carts) with Configurator 2. We want to start managing the new iPads with Jamf. I have the serial numbers of the iPads I want to manage with Jamf entered into the system. I set up the prestage enrollment I want, but since the iPads have been enrolled with Configurator 2, the prestage enrollment never occurs to get them into Jamf. Do I need to do a 'hard reset' on the iPad to get it to enroll in Jamf, or is there a better way to force their enrollment?
