We use a configuration profile to uncheck/disable the iCloud icon on System Preferences for our users.
The trouble is, when they are updating to High Sierra they are prompted to accept new Terms & Conditions in the notification Center. This notification persists everytime they resume from sleep.
We're investigating potential solutions / workarounds:
- Temporarily Enable iCloud to allow users to accept the new terms and conditions
- Suppress this request for terms & conditions completely
Our current plan is to Clone our configuration profile, and allow iCloud in the cloned profile, and use exclusions to remove users from the main and add them to the "temp iCloud on" profile.
Would like some feedback to see if this approach makes sense. Or if this cloning + excluding will result in more trouble for the rest of the policies.
