So on Feb 9, 2016, Adobe released a security patch was released for Photoshop CC 2014 to 15.2.4. Understandably, Adobe isn't going to waste cycles getting this onto the back end servers to pull down through CCP.
However, looking through their blog post, I was happy to see Karl's team did provide a workflow for downloading the Photoshop_CC_2014_15_2_4_ftr.dmg source, and using CCP to convert it into a deployable package, using .
Since we got over this hump, I wanted to give Karl a shout out, and put up a thread, in case anyone going forward needs to deploy this relatively new patch. Download the patch, mount the DMG, launch CCP, and select Add offline media, then off you go.

Update: not sure if the above was clear, the updater is only available as a download.
We set up CCP to create Adobe_PhotoshopCC2014.2.4_15.2.4_Install.pkg, even though only 15.2.2 is available via CCP.
Before creating the PKG, we add the Online Media (point to the downloaded DMG; hit "Extract"), and bingo, it adds the updater to the installer PKG.
Brilliant. Now we just have to get users to stop depending on 2014. :)
