We have been trying to airdrop a pages file from a teachers device to students’ device. All devices are running iOS12 and we are getting this error:

Has anyone encountered this before and know of a fix?

Just a quick update on this. JAMF was able to replicate the issue and a product issue has been filed. Quoting the response here in case someone else is encountering the issue.

Hello Erwin, Thank you for your patience. We're confirming that a Product Issue has been filed (PI-006384) and we hope to have our Sustaining Engineering team investigate as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we do not currently have a workaround available, and we apologise for any impact this is having within your environment. Our Customer Success team have a notification system set up, which will automatically reach out to you via email when the Product Issue has been fixed in a release.
