This is not really documented but I thought it was neat. This is how I test scripts while in netboot with my netboot server and my NBI file. Since when you invoke scripts manually to test them, Casper does not assign those handy parameters and some of your variables or code may break because of it.
So, if a machine is not managed (no Casper client) and you have a Casper app on your machine then you have access to the jamf command binary.
For example, I tossed Casper imaging into /Applications/Utilities on my desktop Computer (which currently isn't managed):
Now, from this working directory I can run the jamf binary and it runs commands from the app's version which is embedded in the app. Also, do note that JAMF Helper is also present in this directory.
FYI - figured this could be handy to know.
