to wipe a Mac with FileVault2

Hi guys,
I have a question: All of our Macs are encrypted with FileVault2.
After a user leaves the company, we have to wipe the client with a certificate.
This is done via a script, which triggers the secureErase command and just creates a pdf.
So far as I know, SSDs & Flash drives don’t have to be wiped and overwritten a couple of times.
It would just be fine to wipe the disk once, when the FileVault Key is lost, it is not possible to restore the disk.
Is there some kind of Whitepaper or overview to have that documented?
Im going through the FIleVault 2 Whitepaper, but don’t see anything like that.
Or am I overseeing something?
Thanks a in advance.
Cheers
