"Check that your Apple ID and password are correct and try again.""

We've recently started to use VPP for free apps, and have ran into this with several students. After they get this message there doesn't appear to be a way around it. If I try to go through the enrollment again it doesn't ask for the Apple ID password. It gives them the agreement form and then pops up this error. Any ideas on getting around this or an alternate way to get a student enrolled in VPP? Thanks,

Dan

I am having the same error message when I go to accept the VPP enrollment. Are you still having this trouble?

As am I, albeit with a paid app. This is on an iPad 4 with IOS 8.4, with JSS 9.81. I do not want to upgrade IOS due to the VPP issues with 9.2. I'm wondering if the changes Apple is attempting to fix VPP with 9.2 are affecting VPP across the board?

Sorry for the late response. I'm not in that school district any more so I'm not exactly sure if it's still happening. I'll see if my replacement has had the issue again.

We have the same thing going on here. Naturally, we first noticed it when we started converting two grade levels worth of devices to managed distribution. Pretty frustrating, to say the least, and certainly time consuming. Mixture of iPad 4's and iPad Airs, all running 9.2, since Apple stopped signing 9.1 a couple days before we started the project.

The only thing we have found to get around it thus far is logging the user out of iTunes / App Store on the device, logging them back in, and re-sending the invitation. This works about 80% of the time, I'd guesstimate, and when it doesn't work the first time, it often works on the second try.

Logging out of the app store, resending the invitation, accepting the invitation, THEN logging into the app store seems to work for me!
