Good morning everybody,
we need to upgrade our Adobe Creative Cloud 2017 with all Apps to version 2018.
We still have no possibility to use configuration profiles or policies.
We only can package the update and share it via the JSS.
In this reason the version 2018 will create new folders in the applicationfolder.
What can i do to delete the old version without leaving all user settings for the programs ?
I thought we distribute the new version and then delete the old folders.
What do you think is the best way for us ?

From a user perspective it might be a good idea to install CC2018 first as it will then automatically migrate CC2017 settings upon first launch.
That leaves the CC2017 programs along with CC2018. Guess that could be an issue.
From an IT perspective you could ask the users to create a manual backup of their settings before removing CC2017 entirely followed by the installation of CC2018.
If you're using device based installations(serial number) the above should solve it for you either way. If you're using Named User deployment you might have better options going forward. Adobe have created Self Service-packages that allows end-users to install/uninstall old and new releases.
