Upgrading OpenSSL

Has anyone had to do this? There are a few vulnerabilities with my server pointing to OpenSSL:

* OpenSSL ASN1_STRING_print_ex Function Denial of Service Vulnerability

* OpenSSL EVP_VerifyFinal Security Bypass Vulterability

I'm currently running v 0.9.71 (28 Sep 2006). The new version is at: http://openssl.darwinports.com/

Any help is appreciated.

    Could you please tell me installation instruction for OpenSSL. Or give any script to install OpenSSL on MAC.
