Users are Unable to Share Notes/Preview Images Using Messages

@mspikes Those options can definitely be disabled on macOS. The Jamf Pro GUI for setting those restrictions is the Restrictions payload of a Configuration Profile, and specifically the Sharing Services tab of that payload.

Go to System Settings -> General -> Login items & Extensions. Check the “Share” and “Enable Message” options. If “Enable Message” is not enabled, select “Same.” If “Enable Message” is grayed out and you cannot see it, it is blocked by MDM.

We do not have restrictions configured so unsure why we are unable to share via messages.

I checked from my side and see it exactly as you do

If the notes are stored on iCloud, you will be able to see the messages in sharing. However, if the notes are stored on a different provider, such as Google, they will not be available for sharing over message.

I have two different notes. One is available in iCloud, and the other is available in Google. I can see the messages in the sharing section of the note that is available in iCloud, but I cannot see the messages in the sharing section of the note that is available in Google.

Additionally, verify your signed-in on your iMessages.
