We're in the process where soon we'll be migrating to a different domain. Many users have alias shortcuts on their desktops for share file paths.
What I would like to do is use Casper to collect a list of these aliases on each system and profile with what paths they point to.
Having this would give our team a chance to be proactive in working with these people with aliases immediately when the migration occurs.
What would be even better would be if we could somehow take that data and script to either edit those aliases with new paths or create new aliases with the new paths. The old ones would then be removed.
Is anyone familiar with doing something like this?
